TRAINING WITH MOVEWORX
What we want to do is to help you get the most out of your body.
We combine the science, ie: anatomy, movement systems, and time honoured principles of training with the carry over of this to everyday life.
We are teaching a movement based approach. We first screen you, find out where your deficits are, and then work to clean them up. We strive to keep programming as simple as is possible to maximise results. We also believe in educating you, the client, on how to use your body correctly. That way you can work on fixing and maintaining yourself going forward. We want people to take responsibility for their bodies and what they do with them.
FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT SCREENING
The FMS or Functional Movement Screen is our baseline for your movement. This gives us a marker covering the basic human movement patterns. Once we have baseline information, we can move on changing it. This is how our programs are managed. And what do we start with when we train you…that’s right, the ones that got question marks on the in the test. It makes sense. How do I know what you need? I test your movement skill, and then work you starting with the weakest link. That is how you are going to get to your fullest potential.
